- In partnership with business owners, support development and execution
of business segment strategies and corresponding financial objectives to
achieve business growth and P&L goals. Provide framework and
recommendations for trade-offs among P&L levers. Provide segment and
business leadership in partnership with Retirement Solutions segment
owner (SMT).
- Achieve new business revenue and sales goals through market-and
case-level strategies and execution, strategic pipeline review;
educating, influencing, and strategizing with sales and client-facing
teams; development of macro-and case-level product, pricing, and
distribution strategies to achieve sales and overall P&L goals.
- Achieve inforce revenue goals through book of business and case-level
strategies and execution, including concession management, revenue
enhancement initiatives, educating and strategizing with relationship
managers and client-facing team. Includes rate setting-driving effective
balancing of interest margins vs. customer acquisition and retention in
context of overall client and business situation.
- Develop strategic pricing targets, price model and tools, and pricing
process to facilitate effective case-level pricing decisions; ensuring
price model reflects business/service model, complexity drivers,
alignment with financial objectives, and provides financial insights for
effective decision-making.
- Determine optimal new business product and pricing strategy, ensuring
competitiveness and profitability. Provide financial analysis and
strategic input into new product development.
- Recommend strategic and tactical business initiatives by leveraging
development and analysis of segment financial exhibits, scorecard and
metrics, combining financial insights with business knowledge to drive
business strategy and results.
- Strategic expense management, ensuring effective
investment/disinvestments in high/low value-added services across
organization. Influence development of cost-effective service models
with resource aligned to highest value activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 7+ years of Pricing, Actuarial, Financial
and Business leadership experience
- Market exposure within Financial Services/Retirement industry;
including Director and/or VP experience
- Ability to navigate across organization at senior level
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Financial/Actuarial training: FSA, CPA or MBA
